Airgas is hiring for a CDL Class A Route Driver in Nashville, TN. We value diversity and inclusion.

Nashville, TN - Centennial - Filling industrial

• Competitive Pay: $27 per hour
• Driver Incentive Plan:
  Up to $10,500.00
• Benefits eligibility: 30 days
• Forklift training provided

• Operate a Class A Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes.
• Collect empty cylinders from customers.
• Record transactions and obtain signatures.
• Address customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction.
• Handle loading/unloading.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance.
• Present a professional appearance and maintain vehicle condition.
• Maintain accurate load manifests and documents.
• Foster strong customer relationships, providing cost and delivery information.
• Monitor and adjust cylinder levels to prevent emergencies.
• Analytical problem‑solving for customer inquiries.
• Safely load/unload, deliver, and retrieve cylinders and hard goods.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs.; occasionally 76–100+ lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Proficiency in English language for communication, signs, and documentation.
• Strong verbal skills, self‑motivation, attention to detail, goal‑oriented.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift Experience.
• Touch freight delivery experience.
