And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.
* Competitive pay:  + Average $1,400 per week / $72,800 per year  + Starting pay: .58 cpm  + Average 2,000 miles per week  + Stop pay of $27 per stop    - Average 10-15 stops per week  + Breakdown, detention and layover pay  + Company sponsored per diem program
* Weekly home time (potentially some mid-week home time)
* Monday-Friday, occasionally leaving on Sundays
* Delivering aluminum and plastic extrusions along with other building products on curtain side flatbeds or vans
* Coverage Area: SC, AL, FL, GA, KY, NC, TN, OK, MO, OH, VA
* Secure cargo with straps to ensure safe transport; NO TARPING IS involved

* Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Drivers must have Class A CDL
* No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
* No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
* No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
* No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
* No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
* No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Pros:

The ability to promote or move to different positions within the company. Excellent pay and benefits Home every weekend

None/ there can be gray areas. But management can answer any questions and point you in the right direction.

Very nice equipment, leadership is very professional and ethical. I go home every night as I am a city driver.+ Averitt is a very stable company with great benefits.
