Kid Strong West Nashville is rapidly growing and we're looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives.

We are looking for a birthday party coach with an athletic or coaching background. Kid Strong Birthday Party Coach would focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from a designed birthday curriculum. Ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding birthdays. Parties typically run on the weekends, from 1:45 to 3:15pm and 3:45-5:15pm – the ideal candidate will be available during those hours.

Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through camps & Kid Strong Class coaching – may require additional training.

Seasonal positions available and the opportunity for part-time or full-time schedules.

• Party sizes of up to 25 children
• Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
• Greet students as well as parent(s)/guardian(s) as they arrive
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor
• Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
• Keep an accurate record of attendance at all times
• Ensure cleanliness of the center including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors – this includes taking out the trash, sweeping and mopping, wiping down equipment, and sanitizing the mat at the end of a shift
• Effectively use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
• Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack, our company messaging system, including periodic checks of messages when not in centers
• Complete training through Learn Upon as required by the HQ Training and Certification team
• Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment – coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through parties, lift and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds in weight
• Must be comfortable working "hands-on" with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety
• Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by Kid Strong Director
• Must obtain party-certified status from the HQ Training and Certification team
• Supervision, safety, and program implementation for kids while ensuring the well-being of all children

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate Kid Strong age is preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who just gets a job done
