Dynatrace Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Dynatrace Engineer for a Contract role with a client in Memphis, TN (Remote). The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience with Dynatrace deployments, observability tooling, and Splunk. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to build advanced dashboards, alerts, and analytical queries.

$102/hour to $105/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Deploy, configure, and manage Dynatrace, App Dynamics, and Splunk to provide full‑stack observability across applications, cloud platforms, and infrastructure.
• Build and manage dashboards, alerts, SLOs, and telemetry visualizations for proactive health monitoring.
• Write and convert queries, including SPL to DQL, for in‑depth analysis and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and SRE teams to instrument services and improve reliability.
• Support incident resolution through real‑time telemetry analysis and performance diagnostics.
• Create observability automation, optimize data ingestion, and enhance monitoring coverage.
• Ensure best‑practice implementation of modern observability concepts, APM, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Perform hands‑on engineering on both observability tools and operating systems.
• Troubleshoot complex monitoring and performance issues across hybrid environments.

• Experience Requirement:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with Dynatrace, Observability, Splunk, and performance monitoring.
• Must‑Have
  
  Skills:
  • Extensive hands‑on Dynatrace deployment, troubleshooting, dashboarding, and SPL → DQL query conversion.
  • Strong observability engineering background.
  • Solid Splunk understanding and administration experience.
• Nice‑to‑Have
  
  Skills:
  • App Dynamics experience.
  • Broader observability stack experience.
• Travel:
