As an Electronic Security Service Technician, you’ll handle both routine and emergency service calls across multi‑family properties and apartment communities while delivering top‑tier customer support.
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of security systems and equipment
- Service and support CCTV, intrusion, access control, intercom, and alarm systems
- Install, maintain, and service Qsys equipment
- Test systems, verify signals, and ensure operational reliability
- Use diagnostic tools, including multimeters
, to trace and resolve issues - Train, coach, and mentor junior technicians or trainees
- Provide hands‑on customer education on system operation and functionality
- Maintain truck inventory, tools, and materials
- Accurately document service work, hours, and task completion
- Work independently while ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and on time
- CCTV, access control, alarms, and security systems experience
- Qsys installation and service experience (required)
- Strong troubleshooting skills using multimeters
- Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on commercial security systems experience
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily travel between job sites
- Experience in service, PM, HVAC service, or security technician roles
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior technicians
- High School Diploma or Vocational Training
- Master‑level knowledge of commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems
- Working knowledge of local and national electrical and safety codes
- Strong understanding of testing equipment (multimeters, battery analyzers, decibel meters)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation (English)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in crawl spaces, ceilings, ladders, and lifts (minimal ladder work overall)
- Standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling throughout the day
- Flexible schedule with on‑call availability and short‑notice travel
- Ability to drive for extended periods (day and evening)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 – $32.00/hr.
