Electrician

Overview"The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems to ensure the safety, comfort, and uninterrupted operation of hotel facilities for guests and staff." Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, lighting, power outlets, panels, and controls throughout the hotel
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
• Respond promptly to guest room and facility maintenance requests
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement safe, effective repairs
• Maintain emergency systems including generators, backup power, and emergency lighting
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and hotel standards
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff and hotel departments as needed
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and repairs
• Assist with renovations, upgrades, and new installations
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned

• Physical ability to stand, climb ladders, and lift equipment as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid electrician license or certification (as required by local regulations)
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel, resort, or commercial setting
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and safety standards
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Pay Rate: $24-$28/hourly
