Axiom Builders is looking for a Hoist Operator / Traffic Control Person to join our team. Our hoist is going up in early 2026, so you will be expected to support traffic management and general duties around our high-rise site.

• Protect the safety of the work crew and the public by directing motor and pedestrian traffic;
• Operate hoist in a safe and controlled manner;
• Prepare and set‑up all traffic plans and lane closures, including appropriately positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites;
• Informing and coordinating all incoming and outgoing deliveries;
• Adhere to all Axiom Builders Health and Safety policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, PPE and clothing appropriate for the elements;
• General labor duties as assigned: sweeping, moving small equipment, supporting Superintendent as needed.

• At least two (2) years of previous experience in flagging or traffic control;
• Valid Traffic Control Person and/or Hoist certification and training;
• Excellent observation and communication skills.
• Willing to perform additional tasks other than traffic management.
• Open to opportunities and growth within the company through other positions.
