Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

We design, sell, and install fire protection systems and perform routine inspections and maintenance, from underground utility work to complete fire system installation. Position OverviewThe Fire Inspection/Service Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens. The role involves installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining pre‑engineered kitchen hood suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting systems.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of pre‑engineered kitchen hood suppression systems.
- Install new fire suppression systems and components in accordance with all state, local, and national codes.
- Perform repairs on malfunctioning or damaged systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Ensure all fire suppression equipment meets required safety standards and operational effectiveness.
- Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of their systems.
- Respond to emergency service calls as required.
- Collaborate with the fire protection team to maintain high service standards and safety compliance.
- Experience in fire system installation and service, especially with kitchen hood suppression systems.
- Fire Suppression License for Pre‑Engineered Commercial Hood Systems (preferred).
- Proficient with power and hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training in fire protection systems is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
