At Odulair, you’ll install and maintain low voltage systems that are critical to the operation of our mobile clinics, ensuring seamless communication and data connectivity.

This position reports to the Head of Electrical or their designee and is located outside of Nashville, TN. Collaborates with electrical and IT teams to install, test, and maintain low voltage data systems in mobile clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling systems, including data, voice, and video cabling for mobile medical clinics.
  • Set up and configure network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.
  • Install security systems, intercoms, and AV systems as required.
  • Troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems to ensure reliable operation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Collaborate with IT, electrical, and production teams to ensure proper integration of low voltage systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations and system configurations.
  • Follow all safety regulations and best practices for low voltage installations.
  • Conduct testing and inspections to verify system functionality and compliance with standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head of Electrical or their designee.

Education and

Work Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Low Voltage License or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in low voltage installations, including data, security, or AV systems.

Specialized Knowledge and

Skills:

  • Knowledge of low voltage cabling standards (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics) and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • A can-do, positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential.

Equipment and Applications:

  • Proficiency with cable testers, multimeters, and hand tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and documentation tools.

Work Environment Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment while maintaining a methodical approach.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Work environment includes exposure to construction zones and various materials.
  • Compliance with Odulair's Health and Safety Policy and all relevant safety regulations is mandatory.
