Job Description
Next Generation Construction & Environmental, LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Jetting Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating high-pressure jetting equipment to clean, maintain, and inspect pipes and drainage systems. The role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.
Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkTypical construction hours required, with some weeks being less than 40 hours and other weeks requiring 50+ hours; must be willing to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
TravelMust be willing to travel for short periods of time as needed.
Work Environment- Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions and noisy environments.
- Be able to work extended hours and variable shifts.
- Be able to wear all required PPE.
- Be able to climb ladders and work from stationary platforms from elevated heights.
- Confined Space Entry may be required to accomplish tasks for some clients.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Operate high-pressure jetting equipment to clean pipes, sewers, and drainage systems.
- Inspect and maintain jetting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during operations.
- Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Accurately complete job reports, logs, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during operations.
- Assist with other related tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Previous experience as a Jetting Operator or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with jetting equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- CDL.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift heavy equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
