Cable Technician

Description

TEKsystems is looking to hire a lead cable technician to work within their cabling division on the new Titan’s stadium in downtown Nashville. The contract will last through February 2027. The technician will primarily work on new construction jobsites and may lead a few helpers or work independently depending on the project. Responsibilities include installing cable pathways/trays/j-hooks, pulling Cat6+ cable and fiber, and terminating faceplates and jacks.

The technician will receive daily direction and training from an onsite lead and will develop a skill set in the low‑voltage industry.

• Install cable pathways, trays, and j‑hooks.
• Pull Category 6+ cable and fiber.
• Terminate faceplates and jacks.
• Work under daily direction from an onsite lead.
• Lead or work independently with helpers as project requires.

• Cable installation (Cat 6, fiber, structured cabling)
• Low‑voltage cable knowledge
• Ability to use hand tools and drills
• Timely, self‑starter, reliable transportation

Intermediate Level

Contract position based out of Nashville, TN. Fully onsite.

Pay range: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements may apply to benefits and may depend on classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change.
