Position Overview
Field Deinstallation Technician – Medical Imaging
Location:
Based in Madison, TN | Regional Travel Required
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (In‑House Training) | Travel: 1x/week for 3–5 days on average

We’re hiring a mechanically inclined and reliable Field Deinstallation – Medical Imaging to join our national de‑installation and installation team. After in‑house training, you’ll travel to healthcare facilities across the U.S. to install and remove X‑ray, CT, and Mammo systems. You’ll also assist with equipment prep and QA tasks in our warehouse when not on the road.
What You’ll Do- Travel to medical facilities in company‑provided 26’ box trucks to install/de‑install imaging equipment
- Perform pre‑inspection, site coordination, equipment setup, and calibration
- Collaborate with on‑site contacts and Tri‑Imaging project managers
- Complete installs/de‑installs in the in‑house QA bays during non‑travel weeks
- Use hand tools and follow detailed protocols to ensure equipment is safely transported and properly installed
- Work closely with a senior technician during training and early travel assignments
- Travel is typically once per week, for 3–5 days at a time
- Drive times usually range from 8–10 hours, with a max of 12–14 hours
- You’ll be paid for all travel time
- When returning from travel, you’ll have flexibility to take downtime based on your upcoming schedule
- We avoid back‑to‑back travel weeks when possible, and always strive to maintain a healthy work‑life balance
- On non‑travel weeks, you’ll work a standard 40‑hour week in the warehouse (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- 2–5 years of mechanical, logistics, or installation‑related experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record and willingness to learn to drive a 26’ box truck
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel weekly and occasionally leave on Sundays
