Install and update low voltage wiring for access control, cctv, data, intrusion, and other systems in commercial buildings
Read project drawings and blueprints to determine scope of work and correct installation
Test, troubleshoot and repair cabling systems already in place
Perform inspections to ensure installations are according to code
Complete detailed daily and inspection reports, documenting any issues
Carry materials weighing 50 + pounds to the project location in either a new construction or occupied building
Use power tools to complete installation and repairs
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Qualifications
Five years or more of experience with access control, cctv, data, intrusion, and other systems in commercial buildings
High school diploma or GED certificate
Work experience with low voltage structured cabling
Experience with commercial and residential systems
Ability to work on ladders and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read and comprehend written communication
Frequent use of stairs, climbing and descending
Ability to stand up to 4 hours at a time
Valid driver's license
