Join a leading Building Automation and Energy Solutions provider as a
BAS Controls Technician in the greater Nashville, TN region.

This role is part of one of the nation’s first Automated Logic (ALC) dealers — a respected organization with more than 30 years of experience delivering high-quality HVAC and controls integration services.

This is a hands-on position focused on controls startup, commissioning, system optimization, and technical troubleshooting

Most work is local, with occasional travel to Alabama or Kentucky (home each weekend).

• Location: Nashville, TN (surrounding areas welcome)
• Compensation: $40.00 – $50.00/hr (DOE)
• Bonus: Discretionary Annual Bonus
• Overtime: Regular opportunities

• Travel: Mostly local; occasional short trips to KY/AL (no overnight weekends)

• Install, test, and commission Building Automation Systems (BAS) on commercial construction projects
• Diagnose, repair, and fine-tune BAS field devices and control systems
• Complete point-to-point device checkouts and functional performance testing
• Modify controller databases and adjust software configurations as needed
• Assist in front-end server setup, software loading, and system integration tasks
• Support installation teams during startup and commissioning phases
• Maintain strong communication with building owners, contractors, engineers, and internal team members
• Work independently or collaboratively to meet project deadlines and performance targets

• Experience as a Controls Technician or similar BAS startup/service role
• Solid understanding of HVAC controls, sequences, system integration, and commissioning practices
• Familiarity with Automated Logic (ALC) equipment preferred (training available)
• Ability to analyze and adjust BAS programs for proper operation
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
