Security & Parking Officer 2 - 3rd Shift
Under the direction of the Director of Security & Parking is responsible for coordinating key security and scheduling functions for the Music City Center /Nashville Convention Center. Incumbent is responsible for and performs all duties related to assisting these positions and assigned divisions.
Responsibilities- Contacts EMT and contracted Security to develop full Security and EMT schedules. Distributes all Security (including Parking) and EMT schedules.
- Prepares and coordinates with Events, Finance, and Administration final hours to be billed under the direction of the Director of Security & Parking or his/her designee.
- Develops, maintains, and distributes the parking calendar commitments to appropriate personnel.
- Develops and distributes facility weekly schedules including operational training scheduling.
- Produces, tracks, and distributes completed parking contracts for potential and existing parking clients
- Assists the Director of Security & Parking and Security & Parking Managers with departmental purchasing, tracking, and receipt.
- Assists the Director of Security with departmental financial reports.
- Includes administrative duties such as distribution of mail, departmental correspondence creation and distribution, and photocopying as required.
- Coordinates advance door opening/closing times and event lighting needs.
- Maintains call list for Command Center by coordinating with all outside contractors and outside vendors working in the facility to ensure accurate information
- Performs related duties as required.
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Education/Experience Equivalent also considered
- One to three years relevant experience
