As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in Nashville, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a utilities location. What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and completing required documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and help to manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic in accordance with site procedures.
  • Observe and report irregular conditions such as damaged fencing, unsecured gates, malfunctioning lighting, and/or other conditions that may impact operations, and communicate findings through activity logs and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
