At Inter-Con, we take pride in delivering customized security solutions tailored to our clients’ needs. This position entails being part of a highly-skilled security team catering to critical facilities and providing personal protective services. You will receive training from experienced firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship when required.

- Ability to fulfill the physical demands of the position, including emergency response and aid as necessary.
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of assignment (age exceptions may apply).
- Capable of reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
- Customer-oriented with good phone etiquette.
- Maintain good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed state certification and licensing as required.
- Satisfactory results in drug testing, background checks, and annual first aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Be a certified Fire Guard, if applicable, and able to obtain certification as a Fire Safety Director if required.
- A minimum of one year of prior security officer experience, with law enforcement or military experience considered a substitute.
- Safeguard bank personnel, assets, and property.
- Verify identification for employees and authorized personnel entering bank facilities.
- Screen visitors, contractors, vendors, and other personnel to ensure authorized entry.
- Monitor property passes for equipment or packages leaving the premises.
- Respond to emergencies and direct necessary actions as instructed by supervisors.
- Enforce post orders and adhere to general orders’ directives.
- Assist customers, employees, visitors, emergency responders, and other parties as needed.
- Conduct regular patrols of bank premises.
- Perform the duties of a Fire Guard or Fire Safety Director as necessary.
- Document incidents thoroughly, detailing actions taken in response to events or emergencies.
