As a Security Officer - Federal Unarmed Patrol in Nashville, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to alarms and/or access concerns, and communicate clearly with personnel and visitors while delivering strong customer service. You will support our agile, reliable, innovative team culture and act with integrity through teamwork on every shift.

- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, authorizations, and/or visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor assigned areas for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or security-related hazards, and report findings through established channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing directions and coordinating notifications to appropriate personnel.
- Complete routine and incident-related documentation, including activity logs and reports, with accurate and timely details.
- Assist with screening of vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries as directed by site procedures, and escalate items of concern per post orders.
- Support government facility operations by enforcing site rules, directing foot and vehicle traffic as needed, and maintaining a professional presence.
- Operate communications equipment such as radios and phones to coordinate patrols, request assistance, and/or relay information.
- Participate in drills and/or required training, and follow emergency procedures for events such as fire alarms, medical incidents, severe weather, and/or evacuation orders.
- Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
