Business Development Manager – North Nashville Area

Sterling Search Partners is helping a rapidly growing client with its search for a Business Development Manager for the North Nashville area
. Our client is looking to hire eager sales professionals that are looking to knock on doors and bring in new business to help grow the local branch and company overall. We are looking for sales people that get excited about uncapped commissions and an aggressive compensation plan with excellent benefits.

Pay Range
  • Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
Location
  • Nashville, TN (North Nashville area)
Responsibilities
  • Drive growth through new client acquisition.
  • Develop, estimate, and close commercial maintenance contracts.
  • Cold calling and networking to identify and build sales pipeline.
  • Establish strong relationships with operations personnel to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Develop regional contacts and professional network.
  • Use and maintain a structured sales process and CRM reporting system.
Qualifications
  • Sales or business development experience with commercial services industries (e.g., enterprise security, heavy equipment rental/sales, commercial cleaning or catastrophe clean-up, commercial property sales or pest control) or other B2B situations.
  • Strong relationship building capabilities.
  • Self-driven and self-disciplined.
  • Must be able to travel within targeted territory (occasional overnight travel outside of target territory may be required).
Ideal Candidate
  • Have experience in a sales HUNTER role, especially in business-to-business commercial contract sales.
  • Have strong skills in prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments, qualifying and closing business.
  • Take a structured approach to sales.
  • Excel in a commission-based compensation structure with high earning potential.
  • Comfortable with being held accountable for revenue growth.
  • Be tenacious, optimistic, proactive, confident, ambitious, and maintain high work and ethical standards.
  • Be motivated to make an impact and WIN.
