Market Manager – Nashville
We’re looking for a Market Manager – Nashville to be the driving force behind our sales execution in the state. This role is boots‑on‑the‑ground—building relationships, getting Happy Ending™ into key customer accounts, and ensuring our brand is front and center in both off‑premise and on‑premise locations. You’ll work closely with our distributor partners to execute sales programs and hit volume, distribution, and visibility goals.
While distributor management is a key part of the role, your focus will be on direct sales execution, account development, and brand building at the local level.

WhatYou’ll Do
- Drive Sales & Distribution: Build relationships with key accounts, secure new placements, and ensure Happy Ending is stocked and visible across on‑premise and off‑premise channels.
- Execute Retail & Bar Programs: Work with accounts to land menu placements, secure displays, and activate promotions that drive trial and sales.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of Brand Ambassadors: Execute high‑impact sampling events at retail, on‑premise, and non‑premise events, ensuring they embody the Happy Ending brand and deliver an exceptional consumer experience.

Collaboration:
Partner with our distributor reps to ensure Happy Ending is a priority, providing them with the tools, motivation, and accountability needed to drive results. - Market Execution & Brand Visibility: Ensure our brand is properly merchandised in stores and that bars/restaurants are featuring our cocktails in a way that drives consumer interest.
- Local Activation & Events: Support field marketing initiatives, tastings, and brand events that bring Happy Ending to life and create consumer engagement.
- Track & Report Performance: Monitor sales data, track key account wins, and identify new opportunities to optimize our market presence.
- Be the Face of Happy Ending: Represent the brand with enthusiasm, build strong relationships, and make sure people associate Happy Ending with a great time.
- 3+ years of experience in beverage alcohol sales, preferably in an independent or startup brand environment.
- A track record of building relationships and driving sales success in both off‑premise and on‑premise channels.
- Experience working with and influencing distributor sales teams.
- A self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset—someone who doesn’t wait for direction but finds opportunities and makes things happen.
- Strong organization, follow‑through, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of the Tennessee beverage alcohol landscape and key market dynamics.
- Willingness to travel throughout the state and occasionally work evenings/weekends for key activations.
- Ability to lift 30‑40 lbs (cases of product, promotional materials, etc.).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
