SHR Talent is partnering with a premier 3rd Party Logistics Provider based in Nashville, TN in its search for an experienced and results-driven Account Executive. The Account Executive role offers an exciting opportunity to join a well tenured and recognized logistics and transportation company that is dedicated to delivering supply chain solutions to its clients. As the Account Executive, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining client relationships, driving revenue growth, and providing tailored logistics services.
The Account Executive position requires a motivated sales professional with strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills who thrives in a competitive, high-energy environment.
An ideal candidate for the Account Executive role will possess excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships, be self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and networking within the logistics and transportation industry
- Manage and grow existing client accounts by delivering superior customer service and supply chain solutions
- Build long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and continued revenue growth
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure client shipments are executed seamlessly
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to meet or exceed targets
- Maintain a strong knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of proven sales or account management experience in 3rd Party Logistics (3PL), transportation, freight brokerage, or supply chain solutions
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
