Hard work of course! But apart from that, we will ask you to participate in new customer prospecting, growing existing accounts, setting appointments, listening to your prospects, creating solutions, developing proposals, and closing business. All of this will be accomplished by you and a strong existing support team.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Two plus years of sales experience preferred but not required
- Industrial sales experience preferred but not required
- Must enjoy client outreach and relationship‑building
- Territory:
Cincinnati, OH, Dayton, OH and Northern Kentucky. You must have the capacity to cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the territory, demonstrating a strong ability to drive sales and meet targets in the designated region. - Willingness to make prospecting and follow‑up sales calls via telephone, email, social media, and in‑person
- Strong work ethic including the ability to work unsupervised
- Passionate, motivated, and hungry to succeed
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to identify and qualify leads
- Strong skills using MS Office Suite, CRM software, social media
- Limited travel
Education And/or
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Math SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
