Overview
Cashier role at The Home Depot. Provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service to customers. Process Checkout and Returns transactions, monitor the Self-Checkout area, and identify selling opportunities through proactive product knowledge.
Responsibilities- Process Checkout and Return transactions.
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
- Proactively seek product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities.
- Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
- Assist in supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates; participate in training of new Cashiers; use tools to coach and develop others.
- Provide first-level escalation for customer issues.
- Preferred 1+ years of cashier experience.
