Merchandiser / Cashier Position at O'Reilly Auto Parts

A merchandiser and cashier at O'Reilly Auto Parts supports customers on the sales floor while maintaining an organized and secure shopping environment.

• Greet customers, assist in locating merchandise, and direct them to the parts specialist when needed.
• Check out customers, handle returns, and assist in the express lane when the counter is busy.
• Stock and display merchandise, ensuring the front area is fronted, full, and clean on a daily basis.
• Follow company guidelines and planograms to make display changes and price updates.
• Maintaining proper sale signage, stocking sale flyers, and removing sale material once the sale ends.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with the manager to complete the store To‑Do List and team weekly tasks.
• Act as the main shoplifting deterrent and front‑floor security.
• Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.

• Required: Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences; strong interpersonal communicational skills; strong organizational skills.
• Desired: Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages;
  Spanish highly desired.
