Candle Assistant

The Candle Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the production, packaging, and overall customer experience at The Black Candle Company. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with their hands, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. The Candle Assistant will assist with candle production, class preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Assist with the production of candles, including pouring, labeling, and packaging.
• Maintain quality control standards to ensure all products meet brand guidelines.
• Help prepare and set up materials for candle-making classes and events.
• Clean and organize the production and workshop areas regularly.
• Manage inventory of supplies and report any shortages.
• Assist with fulfilling customer orders, including packaging and shipping.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service during classes and events.
• Support company-wide promotions, events, and special projects as needed.

• Previous experience in a production, retail, or hospitality environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for creativity and a desire to learn more about candle-making.
