Position Overview
The Royalty Analyst, Outbound supports the Royalties team in ensuring timely and accurate reporting of mechanical and artist royalties. This position offers opportunities for professional development, skill expansion, and career growth within the entertainment industry.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Nashville, TN office.
Key Responsibilities- Compile product and rate information into standardized rate sheets.
- Track and organize agreements, summaries, and related rate documentation.
- Import contract terms and royalty rates into Curve with accuracy and consistency.
- Track releases and ensure accurate attachment of contract terms.
- Calculate, review, and process artist, mechanical, and union payments.
- Track balance sheet activity and manage out-of-cycle payment processing.
- Prepare BMLG Schedule C and artist balance reports.
- Support audits, reconciliations, and internal reviews as needed.
- Respond to royaltor and internal team inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the Business Affairs and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of royalty data.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience, preferably in the entertainment industry.
- Prior experience in music royalty accounting strongly preferred.
- Experience with Curve royalty software is a plus.
- Experience with Air Table, Tableau, and other database/reporting systems preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proven accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Strong computer skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Positive, proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
