The General Merchandise and Food Sales team enables a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all GM areas of the store.

They support inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes and assist with pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and put up promotional signs for GM areas as directed.
• Operate power equipment for moving merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute processes including price changes, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking and packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to communicate using handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Work independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within time frames.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
