Order and precision of all things food is what you live for. As a Prep Cook, you enjoy the behind-the-scenes of culinary art and ensuring success for the rest of the kitchen staff.

• Refer to the Daily Prep List for each shift and complete opening and closing checklists, and promptly report equipment, food quality problems, or product shortages to the Chef.
• Prepare and portion a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Understand and consistently comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven flat‑top range, refrigeration equipment, and adhere to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and sanitation.

• Minimum one year of experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience.
• Positive energy, ready to assist fellow support staff, and work as a team player.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow basic cooking directions.
• Effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
