About The Role
Support the Property Manager or higher staff in managing all aspects of a single property or portfolio of commercial, industrial or retail properties including marketing, operations and financial activities.
What You'll Do- Respond to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly. Ensure that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards.
- Assist in performing periodic regular property inspections. Recommend alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as necessary.
- Review and recommend approvals for accurate payment of vendor invoices on behalf of the property owner. Responsible for assignment of Purchase Orders.
- Assist with the preparation of accurate tenant billings.
- Assist in coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, and "walk-through" spaces with tenants and tenant improvement department.
- Assist in preparing and delivering timely, accurate and complete reports.
- May assist in producing research data on budget line items or entering budget data provided by manager into budget reports.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provide informal assistance such as operational guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

• CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum rate for the Sr. Building Engineer position is $38.46 per hour and the maximum rate for the Sr. Building Engineer position is $62.50 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
