Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $26.00/hr
LSI is a national award-winning, second-generation family-owned grounds management firm headquartered in Nashville, TN since 1988. Full-time, year-round employment.
Typical schedule:
Monday to Friday 7AM-4PM.
The Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader is responsible for:
- Driving and operating 12-14' trailers and skid steers
- Installing plants and other hard materials
- Cutting lawns using various sized power mowers
- Trimming and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer
- Operating a gas-powered blower
- Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas-powered hedge trimmers
- Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed
- Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing them onto burlap and onto a truck or trailer
- Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe
- Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions
- Supervising a crew of employees
Skills we’re seeking:
- At least 1 year of landscaping experience preferred
- Management experience preferred
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a drug screen & background check
- Physical requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, talk or hear. Ability to lift 70 lbs.
