Job Opportunity – Medical ICU Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: February 17, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4-week scheduling blocks with self-scheduling flexibility; minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule period

Highlights:

• 31-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit with variable patient ratios (2:1 standard, adjusting to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity)
• Advanced critical care equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 monitoring systems
• Meditech EMR documentation system
• Exposure to high-acuity procedures: central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD placements
• Unit secretary support during day shift with occasional nurse extern assistance
• Flexible self-scheduling with manager support to balance assignments

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• ICU experience required
• Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required
