As a Testing Coordinator
- Arts and Sciences at Galen College of Nursing, you will support testing by cataloging and maintaining valid and reliable examinations in all Arts & Sciences exam courses under the supervision of the Arts & Sciences Dean (or designee), and in collaboration with the Test Development Specialist for A&S. Serves as administrative and operational support to the Curriculum & Instruction Department and faculty regarding Arts & Sciences testing.

• Collaborates with Test Development Specialists for A&S to maintain format, integrity, consistency, and bank archival of A&S exams.
• Ensures that testing processes comply with the established Galen College of Nursing policies and procedures outlined in the Testing Policy & Procedures.
• Updates and maintains examinations within Canvas test banks.
• Coordinates online testing with other departments, as required.
• Collaborates with Disability Services to set 504 and other required accommodations for students in exam courses.
• Coordinates meetings between course leads and faculty to review item analyses.
• Provides administrative support for testing within the department.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree with appropriate technical knowledge or equivalent experience. A combination of education and experience may be substituted for an earned bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in higher education required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have excellent organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must also have the ability to take initiative and facilitate the College’s efforts to achieve and maintain regional program accreditation. Requires the ability to plan, organize, and perform multiple tasks and responsibilities within established timelines.
• Degree of Supervision: Minimal.
