Position Summary

With our continued growth and success, we are excited to hire a full-time, Travel Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic treatment team. Our company is medically-based, so as the Travel Nurse Practitioner, you will travel to our various locations around the country to fill in while their permanent provider is out of the office (vacation, FMLA, leave, etc.) and help our clients achieve the aesthetic results they’ve always wanted while providing them with excellent patient care.

On average, our Travel Nurse Practitioners will have 18 overnight stays per month.

Status: Full-time

Travel Requirements: Up to 18 shifts per month, requires flexibility for weekend coverage and travel. Requires ability to travel to any of the 350+ Milan Laser locations.

Candidates must live within close proximity to both a Milan Laser clinic and a major airport.

Travel Requirements

• Travel up to 18 shifts per month
• Flexibility to travel overnights and weekends

• Perform all laser hair removal treatments within Milan Laser established treatment protocols and procedures
• Educate patients on laser hair removal process and pre/post treatment care recommendations
• Work autonomously with clients to achieve their medical or aesthetic hair free goals
• Collaborate with the clinic team to achieve company goals
• Provide a friendly and comfortable environment by delivering world class patient care
• Record clear and accurate medical documentation in patients EMR on a tablet device
• Ensure a professional clean work environment; to include prepping the treatment room in between patients
• Clean and perform minor maintenance on the laser to ensure proper functionality
• Collaborate with Clinical Support Nurse and Medical Management Specialists as needed, regarding patient treatment plans

• Active, unencumbered NP license
• Active ANCC or AANP national certification in family medicine specialty
• Will work with Milan's Licensing Team to obtain licenses in multiple states
• Traveling out of state for training may be required
• Ability to fulfill the 100% travel schedule (duration of coverage between 18 overnight stays)
• Must possess a valid driver's license and demonstrate the ability to rent vehicles from all major rental car companies as needed for business travel.
• Reside in close proximity to both a Milan Laser clinic and major airport
• Flexibility for weekend coverage and travel
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written
• Passionate about providing excellent patient care
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information
• Be able to stand for up to 9 hours a day
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to visually assess the client’s skin and use visual abilities while operating the laser
• Be able to operate a laser and computer/office machinery (required use of hands, fingers, arms)
