As an Emergency Room Nurse you can be a part of positive change.

Summit is the busiest level 3 trauma hospital in Tennessee. In this position you will be working in a 50 bed Emergency Room that primarily cares for higher acuity pts, which includes 8 trauma bays. We have 10 low acuity space for our fast track area.

This position will provide a great pathway for nurses that are interested in growing into other nursing positions like, Trauma, Float Pool, Inpatient Rehab, PCU, ICU, or even educator roles or leadership positions.

The Registered nurse is responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited to assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.
