Overview
Certified Nurse Midwife - Nashville, TN | WOMEN Obstetrics & Gynecology. WOMEN Obstetrics & Gynecology is growing and seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our dedicated team and support continued growth and excellence in patient care. Responsibilities- Provide full-scope midwifery care including gynecologic, contraceptive, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and primary healthcare services.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.
- Manage deliveries, admissions, and inpatient rounding within scope of practice.
- Maintain documentation and care plans consistent with best practices and regulatory standards.
- 3.5 clinic days per week with options for a post-call day off and shared weekend call (72 hours).
- Shared Call Model with a 14-rotation ensuring equitable call and holiday coverage. Call can be taken from home unless clinically necessary, with dedicated nurses handling patient calls.
Access to Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital and Tri Star Centennial Women’s & Children’s Hospital, both featuring Level III NICUs and conveniently located two blocks apart for efficient inpatient care.

Qualifications- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with current Tennessee RN and APRN licensure.
- AMCB certification and active DEA/Controlled Substance License.
- Prior experience in obstetrics or women’s health preferred; new graduates welcome with mentorship support.
