• Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and ensure thorough documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in case of unintended response.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating needs, and resolving issues.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology to ensure complete understanding.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Tri Star Summit is a 230+ bed comprehensive facility located in Davidson, Wilson, and surrounding counties. It serves as a Level III Trauma Center and offers cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation, women's services, and is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and Primary Stroke Center.
