Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position, requiring a TN or compact RN license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Work in the Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit with a 6-bed capacity
• Patient population includes adults ages 18-60+ with diagnoses such as cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, CHF, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and post-cardiopulmonary arrest
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 08:15
• 13-week assignment with either 36 or 48 hours per week
• Local candidates are accepted but may be offered at a reduced rate depending on the facility radius rule
• Care for patients with complex cardiac conditions in a critical care setting
• Two references and a copy of driver’s license required for consideration
• Travelers should discuss extensions with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required

• Active TN or compact state RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start date
• Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
