Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with a TN or compact license for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Work in a hospital Critical Care Unit (CVICU) with a 6-bed capacity
• Care for adult patients with conditions including post-cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and post-cardiopulmonary arrest
• Patient population ranges from young adult through late adult
• Night shifts from 18:45 to 08:15
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Required to work one of two major holidays during the assignment
• Local candidates are accepted but may have reduced rates depending on facility's radius rule
• Provide nursing care to critical cardiac patients in a CVICU environment
• Must work one designated holiday during the contract
• All travelers must only accept one position system-wide in this health system per assignment
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Candidates should consult regarding rate differences due to the local radius rule
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Active TN or compact RN license with current primary source verification via Nursys within 30 days prior to start
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must provide U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. home address
• Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
