• The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
• Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice and maintains a safe therapeutic environment.
• Identifies nursing problems, plans individualized patient care using an interdisciplinary approach, and participates in performance improvement activities.
• When acting in the charge nurse role, responsible for day‑to‑day activities to ensure delivery of quality patient care, staff assignments based on patient need and acuity, and serving as a clinical resource.
• Responds promptly to requests for information or follow‑up with physicians regarding patient issues.
• Scrubs and assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Administers medications and IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Provides accurate and timely nursing documentation in Medi Tech and Camtronics.
• Records, monitors, and demonstrates understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.

• RN (Registered Nurse) license.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of Critical Care experience (ICU, ER, EP).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
