The Food & Nutrition Cashier will be an experienced, trustworthy, and competent professional who is responsible for cash handling, cleanliness, and organization in the cafeteria. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.

What you will do in this role:

• You will set up the cafeteria for meals, open and close the café, and serve customers.
• You will clean, organize, and stock cafeteria supplies.
• You will operate the cash register and follow cash handling policies & procedures.
• You will demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. You will meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Management Plan.
• You will integrate ethics in all areas of practice and adhere to confidentiality and patient’s rights policies.
• You will support the facilities’ mission and values.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma preferred
• 1 year cash handling experience preferred
• Food Handlers or Serv Safe preferred

Tri Star Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility. We offer medical and surgical programs. These include behavioral health and 24‑hour emergency.
