Triony Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess clients  mental health status, including medical history, current symptoms, and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director, the client, their families, and other members of the treatment team.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including monitoring for effectiveness, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide ongoing medication management and adjustment as needed to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Monitor clients  progress throughout the treatment program, documenting changes in symptoms, behaviors, and treatment responses.
• Collaborate with other Triony healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors, to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches.
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for self-care and relapse prevention.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and treatment planning sessions to review client progress and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans.

• Master s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in psychiatric/mental health nursing.
• Current licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner in Tennessee.
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in psychiatric/mental health settings, preferably with adult male populations.
• Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing comprehensive treatment plans.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience prescribing and managing psychotropic medications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with other members of the treatment team.
• Commitment to cultural competency, diversity, and inclusivity in mental health care delivery.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in accordance with professional nursing guidelines and state regulations.
