CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Nashville, Tennessee

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2370–$2540
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position
• Unit: Operating Room (OR) Float Pool – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7a–7p), Monday through Friday, with call requirements (days may vary based on unit needs; block scheduling not available)
• Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/11/2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation Dates: 12/15, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19
• Patient Population: Adults only (no pediatrics)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR OR nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficient in scrubbing and circulating cardiac surgeries
• COVID-19 vaccination series completed or valid exemption by start date

• Scrub and circulate for a wide range of cardiac and surgical procedures, including open heart, transplant, trauma/neuro, general, orthopedic, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, and robotic surgeries
• Participate in call rotation with staff for cardiac surgery cases
• Float within the OR as needed (no floating to other hospital locations)
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care to adults in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
