Donor Data & Relations Specialist

The Donor Data & Relations Specialist ensures accurate, efficient donor systems and data management while supporting donor relations to provide timely acknowledgments and a positive experience. The role requires a detail‑oriented, process‑driven professional skilled in maintaining complex systems to help JMI steward donors effectively.

• Maintain accurate donor and gift records in Salesforce, Reach, and other systems
• Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across all donor information
• Manage database automations, integrations, and process improvements
• Generate reports and dashboards to track giving trends and campaign performance
• Analyze donor and financial data to guide development strategy
• Coordinate thank‑you letters, receipts, and donor touchpoints
• Support personalized stewardship for major and recurring donors
• Respond to donor inquiries and assist in cultivating new donor relationships
• Oversee special mailings and prepare donor impact reports with leadership

• 3+ years in nonprofit or fundraising roles, with experience in donor data systems and relations
• Proficient in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate with a team
