The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and results-driven Venue Marketing Manager to oversee marketing efforts for a portfolio of live entertainment venues across the country. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive ticket sales, increase brand awareness, and build strong connections within each venue’s local community. The ideal candidate has a passion for live music and entertainment, a strong grasp of digital and grassroots marketing, and the ability to adapt strategies to fit diverse markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for multiple venues, tailored to each market.
  • Drive awareness and attendance for concerts, shows, and special events.
  • Collaborate with talent buyers, promoters, and venue teams to align strategies with event goals.

Digital & Social Media

  • Manage social media channels for each venue, creating engaging content that resonates with local audiences.
  • Oversee paid digital advertising campaigns (Meta, Google, Tik Tok, etc.) and optimize for performance.
  • Track social engagement and provide reporting/insights to improve growth and reach.

Grassroots & Community Engagement

  • Build partnerships with local businesses, colleges, media, and community organizations to expand outreach.
  • Execute creative street team, flyering, and word-of-mouth campaigns to drive local buzz.
  • Represent the venues in community initiatives and cross-promotions.

Brand Management

  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all venues and platforms.
  • Oversee creative assets (graphics, video, photography) for campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor sales data, campaign performance, and audience trends.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to maximize ROI.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

  • 3–5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in live entertainment, sports, or venue marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising, social media management, and grassroots marketing.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and markets simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel to venues as needed.

You might be a fit if you:

  • Have familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms.
  • Are skilled in social media strategies that drive awareness
  • Have experience building, managing, and updating websites (Word Press, Squarespace, or similar CMS).
  • Graphic design and/or video editing skills are a plus.
