This group is a fast-growth retail concept, focused on fun, affordable finds for the home, gifting, and everyday life. With over 200 stores open and more on the horizon, This group blends value with discovery, and we’re building the marketing team to match.
As we bring email marketing in-house for the first time, we’re looking for a generalist with a strong email focus to take campaigns from strategy through execution, infusing storytelling & lifestyle inspiration into every send.
Role SummaryThis role will be the primary owner of this group email marketing and a key contributor to omni-channel campaign strategy. You will lead email planning, creative briefing, and calendar campaign management, partnering closely with copywriters, designers, social media, and photography teams to elevate brand storytelling and engagement.
- We are transitioning off agency support and need someone who can:
Maintain and grow email performance without disruption - Bring storytelling and lifestyle sensibility into campaigns
- Orchestrate cross-functional execution with minimal friction
This is a hands‑on but strategic role with approximately 75% focus on email and 25% on broader omni‑channel campaign coordination. There is potential for this role to evolve or expand based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Email Marketing Leadership- Own end‑to‑end email strategy, planning, and execution
- Develop engaging email campaigns with a storytelling / lookbook approach vs purely transactional
- Translate seasonal and lifestyle concepts into monthly campaign themes (e.g., home décor, garden, gift ideas)
- Build clear, actionable email briefs that guide copy, design, and deployment
- Manage campaign calendars and storytelling arcs across sends
- Creative & Cross‑Functional Orchestration- Partner with photography teams to identify assets needed for campaigns; develop shot lists
- Collaborate with designers and copywriters to ensure creative aligns with campaign intent
- Coordinate with the Social Media Manager to ensure alignment of assets, messaging, and timing
- Work with nearshore or execution partners for email building and QA
- CRM, Reporting & Tools- Understand email reporting, analytics, and performance measurement; translate insights into optimizations
- Use enterprise email platforms and CRM tools effectively
- Support segmentation discussions with CRM specialists; understand audience behavior and performance drivers
- Ensure campaign reporting and optimization recommendations are delivered to leadership
- Omni‑Channel Integration- Support execution of omni‑channel campaigns that tie email with social, in‑store activations, and seasonal themes
- Identify channel touchpoints and KPIs to measure success (opens, clicks, revenue contribution, engagement lifts)
- Experience & Background ~6–7+ years of experience in marketing or email campaign leadership
- Strong portfolio of email work that demonstrates storytelling and lifestyle sensibility
- Experience with enterprise or mid‑market email/marketing platforms and reporting
Retail or consumer lifestyle background strongly preferred - Ecommerce email experience welcome if focused on brand/lifestyle storytelling rather than pure product blasting
- Excellent brief writing & creative direction
- Strong organizational skills; comfortable managing campaign calendars
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence without direct authority
- Strategic, creative thinker with an analytical grounding
- Comfortable with legacy tools today and capable of evolving into new tech
