Rustler Hat Co. is a custom hat business located in the heart of the Gulch in Nashville, TN and online. Since inception, it has been an overnight “MUST DO” activity when visiting Nashville. We pride ourselves in the experience from the moment our guests walk through the door. We create hats, but also memories our customers have forever.
Role OverviewWe’re looking for a full-time, in-person Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our Nashville team. This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who can both create compelling content and manage social strategy day to day. You’ll be responsible for capturing content in real time, managing our social platforms, and helping grow Rustler Hat Co. online presence. This is an in‑office role based in Nashville, TN at our brand new office building.
Key Responsibilities Content Creation- Capture and create high-quality photo and video content (Reels, Tik Toks, Stories, static posts)
- Film product launches, behind‑the‑scenes, lifestyle, events, and UGC‑style content
- Edit short‑form video content using tools like Cap Cut, InShot, Adobe, or similar
- Maintain a consistent brand look, feel, and tone across all platforms
- Organize and archive content for future use
- Create content specifically for Meta ads (Instagram & Facebook), including hooks, UGC‑style videos, and performance‑driven creatives
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support email and SMS campaigns through creative asset production, content ideas, and visual storytelling.
- Identify, source, and execute user‑generated content (UGC) for use across social media and paid advertising to drive merchandise sales.
- Create and manage a monthly social media roadmap that drives engagement, growth, and brand storytelling.
- Manage daily posting across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Pinterest and Linked In
- Create daily Instagram stories
- Write engaging, on‑brand captions and CTAs
- Monitor and respond to comments and DMs to engage the community
- Recommend when to boost or promote organic content based on performance and brand goals.
- Stay current on social trends, sounds, and platform updates
- Pitch and execute creative ideas for launches, drops, promotions, and campaigns
- Drive organic growth in followers, engagement, and reach
- Track performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations
- Source and manage influencer and creator partnerships
- Identify and repost high‑performing UGC
- Coordinate content usage permissions and creator communications
- 4+ years experience managing social media for a brand (fashion, lifestyle)
- Strong understanding of Instagram and Tik Tok best practices
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work in‑person from our Nashville location
- Passion for Western, lifestyle, or apparel brands
- Advanced level Graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe)
- Experience with Shopify or e‑commerce brands
- Paid social or Meta Ads experience
- Influencer marketing or UGC management experience
