Overview
Operator Manufacturing III at Coca-Cola Consolidated.
Location:
Nashville. Pay Range: $21.32 - $22.96 hourly, depending on experience.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm and weekends/holidays as needed (12 hour shifts).
Requisition
Responsibilities- Performs pre-operation activities on multiple pieces of equipment to ensure proper startup and operation.
- Operates multiple pieces of equipment, monitors operation, performs setup and changeover, inspects parts and makes adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality specifications and ensure quality production with minimal unplanned stops.
- Performs scheduled quality assurance tests in accordance with GMP and communicates results with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high-quality levels with minimal waste.
- Performs housekeeping activities and sanitations on production equipment.
- Operates equipment including palletizing machines (1-2 machines) to maintain factory efficiency; changeover machine to different SKUs and package sizes.
- Operates Stretch Wrap machine and the computerized Pallet Tag machine.
- Unloads product from palletizing machines or loads product directly into trailers using RF Tablet; scans product while safely stacking in Warehouse bin locations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment; follow standardized work and safe practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Technical, mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs, stand for prolonged periods, and climb stairs as needed.
- Weekend work required, including some holidays as scheduled to support demand.
- Equipment noise requires hearing protection; seasonal temperatures can be expected.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years of work experience.
Noisy, wet, and extreme temperature environment.
