Responsibilities

Relief Operators will perform a variety of essential functions, including maintaining, setting up, and breaking down equipment and machinery; troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues; processing both finished and raw materials; adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); coordinating effectively with all departments; and ensuring daily production deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Proficient in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Pass all pre‑employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Capable of pushing, pulling, standing, walking, climbing, crouching and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, wet environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, occasional weekends and holidays
• Exposure to dust, fumes, cleaning chemicals is acceptable; may be exposed to nut allergens in ice cream plants
