* Job Summary:

** The Cutting Tool Designer is responsible for initiating and completing the concept design phase for special form tools, complex Indexable cutting tools, and inserts. This includes producing detailed drawings and defining production routings for tooling used across various industries. The role involves close collaboration with Sales, Production, and Customers to ensure tooling is designed and delivered accurately and on schedule.

** Other duties as assigned.

* Education and Experience:

** Machining experience is preferred. The ability to read blueprints is required.

Solid Works/AutoCAD experience is required.

Computer programming experience is valued.
** Required Skills/Abilities:
** Knowledge of cutting tool series application understanding. Must have MS office skills.  Ability to read and understand blueprints.  Ability to demonstrate a high level of spatial awareness and ability to conceptualize complex geometry.

Excellent oral/written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
