AboutThe Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Lead to oversee daily operations, ensure workflow efficiency, and maintain quality standards in our production area. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to manage schedules and supplies, and a commitment to training and maintaining a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assign and oversee daily tasks, ensuring all team members start the day with clear job assignments.
- Monitor the production schedule to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensure employees have the necessary tools and materials to complete their tasks efficiently.
- Train team members on proper fabrication techniques and panel assembly when needed.
- Maintain strict quality control, ensuring all panels leaving the production area meet company standards.
- Stay ahead of production flow to prevent bottlenecks or delays.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily reports for each work area.
- Generate Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and communicate with the Quality Control department as needed.
- Process Engineering Request Forms (ERFs) and remakes when required.
- Maintain inventory records, track supply usage, and generate weekly supply charge reports.
- Order materials for fabrication as needed.
- Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and maintain productivity throughout work hours.
- Enforce disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies when necessary.
- Review and approve employee timesheets weekly.
- Previous experience in a production lead or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ability to train and mentor employees in proper fabrication techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Ability to communicate effectively and enforce company policies.
- Proficiency in report creation and record‑keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and handle materials as required.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with tools and machinery.
